Inspiration
We were inspired by the ability to learn and grow our finances using the utility of AI prediction.
What it does
The creation of an application, which includes the usage and functions of AI utility. The application shows a user their personal finances, with the ability to see the user's past expenses to advise your future expenses to your current financial status.
How we built it
Our team decided to tackle their skills and demonstrate their skills by making an front-end development skills, back-end development skills, and the aesthetics for easy understandable use application.
Challenges we ran into
Jeremiah: Correcting AI code was a challenging due to the necessary corrections being implied with context. Fixing it was a matter of constant honing and applying necessary context, which is a long tedious process.
Ryan: The issue of (my work) was the partitioning workflow. Narrowing the scope of the AI's duties came with difficulty, but by separating the system into two workloads, there is a data intake and analyst, and a separate workflow that makes it digestible for the user.
Andrea: With the Nessie API, there was no purchases or transfers. So we are doing it manually in our own database while integrating it to the system. Due to the nature of the customization.
Pilar: Due to the Nessie API, custom end-points and data inputs were and are necessary.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
What we learned
We learned how to mesh AI and configuring their API's with our congruent application to use it in a financial context and setting.
What's next for Juno Advising
