Jump Cutter

I wanted to make a project dedicated to helping students watch professor videos. The idea here is that lecture videos would have the silent parts cut or sped up to optimize their viewing experience.

Honestly, just a lot of brain-storming and through ideas to see what stick and this just happened to. Not much to it than that.

What it does

Cuts the silent part of lecture videos

How we built it

With python on the backend

Challenges we ran into

We had to do ALOT of debugging and we were having trouble having the sound travel through the path file and display our output

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We had at least had something working. Although it wasn't the final or expected result. It was something that could work

What we learned

Probably to optimize the most of my time

What's next for Jump Cutter

We will try to fix our issues and maybe turn it into a google extension.
