A fun and interactive game where you get to act like a judge in multiple different court hearings. You will be deciding whether the person is innocent or guilty. Hope you have fun playing our game :).
Inspiration- we wanted to inform the younger generation about the hard decisions that a judge has to make and teach them about the constitution and how to handle circumstances thinking about being social justice.
What it does- it puts you in the position of a judge in a courtroom. The app randomizes court cases and the player must decide if the person is innocent or guilty. If they get it right they get 1 point. The point of the game is to get better and better at identifying different crimes. Also, we have linked in which amendment support each court hearing meaning that they could learn more about the constitution along the way.
How we built it- We built using Java in Repl.it. None of us knew much coding so we all combined our small knowledge about java into making a basic but entertaining game.
Challenges we ran into- Challenges we ran into where that when ever we changed one line of code it would cause an error to appear somewhere else.
Accomplishments that we're proud of- The accomplishment that we are the proudest of is the random case generator making it that each game the questions are in a different order causing the player to read through them carefully.
What we learned- We learned how to code in Java . None of us much of it bu the end of this Project our knowledge grew about 10 x as much.
