jpSpot acts as a one stop shop for both the vocabulary and grammar needs of Japanese learners. By doing so, jpSpot acts to reduce the need for learners to use several sites to learn vocab and grammar.

I wanted to provide a single place for learning both Japanese grammar and vocabulary when most sites only provide for one

Provides a unified place for browsing grammar by JLPT point as well as vocab

How we built it

Frontend provided via HTML/CSS/JS pages Backend via Python & Flask api connection to MySQL database

Challenges we ran into

Turning spreadsheets into usable SQL; formatting problems due to Japanese
