Description of row technologies might code or program this solution:
Tableau (dashboard) Google services Umso (website/dashboard builder) Airtable (holding data)
Description of how users might interact with the technology:
The user experience will change depending on the login credentials. From the Trustee perspective, the user will be able to input any financial or business data and get user-friendly output data through dashboard. The data can then be exported and sent to anywhere else the business needs to prove financial status for. Fundee users can additionally test out potential spending plans and track specific spending data. The system will allow these new and upcoming small businesses to focus on the front end of running a business while Allenstreet portal takes care of the rest.
Fundees will get opportunities to network with other GNF fundees and GNF admins, as well as track and apply for other grants. GNF is all about supporting the Buffalo community, so to celebrate those ideals, the fundees will be encouraged to give back to the community and collaborate with other small businesses to get highlighted on GNFs active social media pages.
When you login with admin credentials, you will have access to all of the data that has been input into the system by the fundees and GNF. GNF can also track the grants and donations given and where/how they are being spent.
Description of how non-profit partners might market this solution:
This adds a unique feature to the playing field that will draw small businesses to want to apply to GNF for both the funding and the access to a one stop place for financial planning and data analytics. GNF can now be supporting upcoming businesses both financially and sustainably through access to this portal. The service encourages fundees to give back to the community to get more marketing, allowing GNF to leverage the amount of community driven projects that will have been helped by GNF. Makes companies want to help GNF back, by getting more information and data, GNF will then be able to market themselves and the fundees back to potential donors.
Description of how non-profit partners might finance this solution:
While there may be some initial cost to GNF, the outcome of having an easier method to gather data and track donors and donor donations and grants will ultimately save GNF money. This is done by saving resources and streamlining by switching from paying and using multiple applications to one. Gives GNF and the small companies the data to market
Potential for Future Development:
This product fuels a community aspect that will encourage older fundees to continuously give back to the GNF community, and as the GNF community grows so will the platform. With more users comes more data that will give more opportunity for marketing to grow to fit each users needs. This could include giving more resources to help fundees market themselves (like adding features similar to canva or design help) and streamlining the marketing process on the admin side. More features can be added to fit the needs of both the admin and fundees depending on user feedback. The current phase of the portal is envisioned to be used up through 500 users, after which there should be a reevaluation of the users needs and potential expansion of the administrative side to continue making the administrative side a clear analysis of the data. The current platform can handle a significant amount of data, the idea is as the portal is used, the features can all be expanded to make it the most user friendly it can be.
Community:
Incentive to promote small companies if they send in info of them giving back to the Buffalo Community This gives GNF data from the companies when they submit a blurb to be posted Networking tab builds community with other GNF fundees.
