Journal Impact Summary is an application that seeks to bring valuable Journal Impact Data to Scidev researchers. The shift to evidence based practice puts pressure on users to engage in research which is meaningful. Competition for academic positions and a need for career progression puts users and researchers on a quest to publish in high rated journals How does one understand whether a journal is good enough for your work? There are several ways to do this, and Journal Impact Factor is one such way. The journal impact Summary app is a 2 prong application, getting the users search data to show a summary of the journal impact data including total articles, total cited articles, cited half life, article influence score and other variables for review The second part of the application allows you to view an inforgraphic of the impact factor of the selected journal presented as a bar graph or line graph
