Inspiration

I was inspired by a sketchbook idea that I had seen on Seam's notions page.

What it does

It is a simple mini-app that lets you focus on your highlight of the day with a sketch or a sticker.

How we built it

I had used Typescript and React. However, I also sometimes referred to Seam's AI Builder for help.

Challenges we ran into

This project was challenging because I did not know React, yarn, or JavaScript well. In terms of code, I struggled with the drawing portion a lot.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I'm happy I could code this mini-app and understand how it works. This is the first hackathon that I have been able to finish on my own.

What we learned

I learned typescript, git bash, and how to use AI to help you sometimes. It was fun and easy to make this mini-app once I could grasp how it works.

What's Next for Journal

I want to incorporate the journal idea with drag-and-drop stickers so you can customize its frame. To make it look prettier, maybe make it a more Polaroid version.
