What it does

Joshy.png is a ML-powered startup designed to inspire our youth to explore their true potential. By utilising sophisticated computer vision techniques and an exhaustively- researched methodology (Pomodoro), we have designed a unique product worthy of acquisition ;) By encouraging focus on the screen through highly targeted visual stimuli, we hope to increase our users’ retention on their productivity missions.

Uses computer vision to determine if the user is paying attention to the screen with head tracking (with TensorFlow.js)
Monitors keyboard and mouse behaviour to provide a further data point
Employs the Pomodoro Technique, helping to reinforce the structure of the breaks by virtually blocking work content – self-regulated breaks have been shown to be less effective – and emphasises the importance of maintaining focus when studying.
