The Inspiration

With our church recently switching to live streamed video messages we thought that this kind of sermon could be improved by giving the viewer a more interactive interface to the live stream. Instead of inserting the slides and Bible verses directly into the video, we want to add an application around the video stream that allows the streamer to share notes and Bible verses with the viewers as they stream the sermon.

The technical side

This project consists of two parts:

The backend is a Ruby on Rails server located in the root of the repository and the frontend a Vue.js Single Page Application located in the client sub-directory.
