Tripography

Web app that utilizes Google Maps, TripAdvisor, and the Pitney Bowes API to recommend tailored POIs, based on personal and demographic information. All the user has to do is provide us with a location and some basic info and our software automatically finds places that we know you'll love.

Inspiration

Although services provide points of interest in an area, they do not personalize it for your liking, financial situation, and overall lifestyle, resulting in people having to research for unnecessarily long periods of time. To combat this issue,we have the user use a simple two-step process, and have the software automatically find places tailored for you.

Problems we ran into

We were inexperienced with JavaScript and there were security issues with the Pitney Bowes API.
