Inspiration
During trash sorting period, regardless how to advance the machines are at the age, it still requires human power to separate trash from one category to another. Johnny Trashcan pre-select the easily targetable objects like bottles, electronics, cardboard, wasted food, before the trash reach human. The human operators can then better utilize their time and only focus on less detectable objects. This is not the solution that can solve all the problem, but it can significantly decrease the human power required per sorting station.
What it does
Johnny Trash uses computer vision and Machine Learning to identify useless trash from recyclable trash.
