Inspiration
Because of the amount of hateful and harmful content, we created a bot that can moderate a discord server chat.
What it does
It read the discord chat channels and moderates them.
How we built it
We built it using the discord module along with the openai module. We used a shared repo to work together.
Challenges we ran into
The challenges we ran into is that we over scaled the start of the project and we had to basically restart our project with limited amount of time remaining.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of everything that we did, the accomplishment of a hateful and harmful content detection, the fact checker, but most importantly the knowledge we gained from doing this project.
What we learned
We learned the basics of the openai python library as well as the discord python library as well.
What's next for joe-hackathon2024
What's next for joe-hackathon2024 next we want to be able to moderate images posted on the discord chat.
