Inspiration

The inspiration behind Jobz.pk was to simplify job searching in Pakistan by providing a single platform where users can find government jobs, private jobs, freelance work, and online earning opportunities in one place.

What it does

Jobz.pk helps job seekers explore daily updated listings, career resources, company insights, and business ideas. It connects users with relevant opportunities based on their skills and interests.

How I built it

We built Jobz.pk using PHP and MySQL for backend functionality, along with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap for a responsive frontend design. APIs and automation tools were used to keep job listings updated.

Challenges I ran into

Managing large-scale job data, keeping listings updated, and ensuring fast performance across all devices were key challenges. We also focused on making the UI simple and user-friendly.

What I learned

We learned how to structure a scalable job platform, manage databases efficiently, and improve user experience for job seekers in real-time systems.

What's next for Jobz.pk

We plan to add AI-based job matching, resume builder tools, mobile app support, and employer dashboards for direct hiring.
