Inspiration

JobVisto came from our own real experience in the cleaning business. I work in cleaning myself, and as we got more jobs, it became harder to keep everything organized: client requests, schedules, addresses, photos, job status, confirmations, and payment notes.

At first I could manage it manually, but every time the business improved, the disorder also grew. My wife helps with the business and account side, and I built the software side to solve the problems we were facing every day.

Cleaning is an industry that many people overlook, but it is always growing. It supports millions of workers and small businesses, yet many of them still depend on WhatsApp, paper notes, scattered photos, and spreadsheets to run daily operations.

That is why JobVisto focuses on one simple idea: every cleaning job should be scheduled, visible, proven, confirmed, and calculated.

What it does

JobVisto helps independent cleaners and cleaning companies manage daily operations from one place.

Users can manage clients, cleaners, jobs, calendars, photo evidence, client confirmations, reports, and external payment receipts. Clients can open a private portal without creating an account, review their service history, see photos, and confirm completion with a digital signature.

Cleaners can follow a mobile workflow for assigned jobs, evidence, check-in/check-out, and payout receipt signatures. Companies can track completed work, estimated revenue, cleaner costs, client payments, and payment receipts.

JobVisto does not process payroll or legal accounting. It records operational proof, estimated financials, and external payment confirmations.

How we built it

JobVisto is built as a web app with a static frontend, Netlify Functions, Supabase, and Stripe.

The frontend includes the landing page, login, dashboard, client management, cleaner management, jobs, calendar, evidence, client links, reports, payments, settings, and portal screens.

Supabase powers authentication, database records, storage, row-level security, RPCs, and production migrations. Netlify Functions handle registration, admin workflows, notifications, job export, support, payment activation, and Stripe webhooks. Stripe is used for checkout and subscription/payment activation tracking.

The app also includes local demo data so judges can test the product quickly.

Challenges we ran into

The biggest challenge was making the product simple enough for real cleaners while still supporting company operations.

We also had to separate external payment tracking from payroll and legal accounting. JobVisto records proof and estimates, but it does not claim to be a legal payroll system.

Another challenge was building private client and cleaner portals that feel useful without forcing every client to create an account.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud that JobVisto is not just a landing page or a small prototype. It is a real product experience built around a real cleaning workflow.

It includes independent cleaner and company flows, private client portals, cleaner workflows, photo evidence, digital signatures, reports, Stripe/Supabase foundations, plan entitlements, multilingual UI, and external payment receipt signatures.

The strongest part is the proof-first workflow: every job can have evidence, confirmation, history, and payment records attached to it.

What we learned

Cleaning operations do not only need scheduling. They need trust records.

The real value is knowing who went where, what was done, what proof exists, what the client confirmed, and what payments were recorded. Building around that trust layer made JobVisto more specific and useful than a generic calendar or task manager.

What's next for JobVisto

Next we want to polish onboarding, improve production plan activation, expand notifications through email, WhatsApp, SMS, and push, add PDF/CSV report exports, improve the dedicated mobile cleaner route, and expand localization with Hebrew and RTL support.
