Inspiration

Many students and fresh graduates search for jobs and internships online. Unfortunately, fake job offers, fraudulent recruiters, misleading company details, and requests for registration fees can put job seekers at risk. We were inspired to create a solution that helps students identify recruitment scams before applying.

What it does

JobShield AI is an AI-powered platform that helps users identify fake job and internship opportunities. It analyzes job offers, verifies company and recruiter information, detects suspicious application links, and flags unexpected fee requests. It helps users make safer and more informed career decisions.

How we built it

We developed the concept of JobShield AI as a smart verification platform. Our approach focuses on using AI-based analysis, job information checks, recruiter verification, and suspicious-link detection to identify potential recruitment fraud. We designed the platform to make the verification process simple and accessible for students and job seekers.

Challenges we ran into

One of our main challenges was identifying different types of recruitment scams and deciding how to detect suspicious job offers accurately. We also focused on making the platform user-friendly while covering important security checks.
