Inspiration

We were inspired by the current job hunting market especially the challenges students face. We wanted to create an efficient, intuitive platform to simplify the process.

What it does

JobScript generates personalized resumes and connects job seekers with employers through intelligent job matching features all in one streamlined platform.

How we built it

The tech stacks used were: Vanilla JavaScript HTML CSS Git GitHub (for collaboration) OpenAI Discord (for team communication)

Challenges we ran into

We ran into bugs, merge conflicts, and time constraints. Some features didn’t make the final cut, but we focused on building a solid MVP.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We successfully built a functional platform under pressure with limited time and worked as a real dev team to get it done.

What we learned

Collaboration is key. We learned how to divide tasks, support one another, and bring our individual strengths together to complete a full project.

What's next for JobScript

  1. Launch & Scale: Our goal is to officially launch JobScript, grow our user base, and turn it into a successful startup—monetized, marketed, and widely used by job seekers and employers alike.
  2. Monetization -> adding a pro version where job seekers can save a unlimited amount of resumes
  3. Tinder for Jobs: We plan to incorporate the popular Tinder-style swipe feature to help users quickly browse and apply to jobs—swipe right on opportunities, left to skip.
