Inspiration We were inspired by the ineffectiveness of the current Jobs for Aggies website. Not only is it complicated, but it's less than useful in most cases. We also wanted to make something for more general job search use.

Design Jobs4Ags uses the JSearch API provided by RapidAPI in order to take data from the largest job search platforms such as ZipRecruiter, LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Indeed, and more.

How we Built We built Jobs4Ags using the aforementioned JSearch API to provide us with the data necessary to send jobs upon search.

Challenges we Faced Some of the challenges we ran into include initially struggling to call the API, but we were able to successfully integrate it which was the most important goal of our project. Taking the data from the API and connecting it into our UI which we designed as we coded was a hurdle as well. Initially, we all had very limited coding knowledge, and at times we faced the challenge of giving up. Yet we persevered and stayed overnight learning how to code.

Accomplishments We're proud of creating an effective and streamlined UI as well as successfully integrating an API.

What we Learned We learned how to collaborate with VSC, our strengths and weaknesses as a team, and how to create a product that solves a problem.

In the Future Hopefully in the future we can turn this into a fully working and totally completed website in the future.
