Inspiration
Applying for jobs is exhausting — filling forms, tracking progress, and repeating the same info everywhere. We wanted to make job hunting effortless, so people could focus on interviews, not forms. That’s how Jobr.pro was born — to automate job applications intelligently using AI.
What it does
Jobr.pro automates the entire job application workflow. It fills applications using AI, tracks submitted jobs, and manages everything from one browser side panel. Users can monitor job progress, save listings, and get smart insights — all powered by ChatGPT automation.
How I built it
We built Jobr.pro with Next.js, MongoDB, Redis, and Radix UI for the front-end framework and styling. It’s hosted on Vercel, with job data stored securely in MongoDB. The AI layer uses OpenAI’s GPT models for intelligent automation, and the browser extension connects the user directly to the platform.
Challenges I ran into
Integrating multiple job board formats was tough since each one handles form fields differently. Another challenge was maintaining accuracy in AI-generated submissions while respecting user privacy. Optimizing speed and reliability in the extension’s side panel was also a key hurdle.

What I learned
We learned how powerful AI can be when combined with good UX — but also how important it is to keep humans in control. Building a system that balances automation and transparency took experimentation and iteration.
