We were inspired to create JobMe because of the unemployment rate in our country. The growth of technology continues to increase world-wide. People tend not to use newspaper anymore as much as one point in time, instead they use this time looking at a screen.
JobMe uses this as an advantage. JobMe can help to decrease the problem of unemployment. JobMe enables individuals who are seeking work or looking for a change in work environment to obtain jobs as soon as possible. When they join the website they are able to find the job that they are looking for with the listed requirements. The companies that join the site, are able to display their vacancies and the listed requirements.
It was built using HTML code and bootstrap templates. We are high school students and some of the tags we used were incorrect, as it was our first time coding.
As it is our first time coding, we have created a website in under three days and we are proud to say that we have learnt a lot during the time we spent here. We had fun and it was a great experience.
We don't know yet what's next for JobMe, but we hope through more learning and experience we could one day make it the next big thing!
