Inspiration
We wanted to make job searching simpler by bringing relevant opportunities into one easy-to-use platform.
What it does
JobFinder allows users to search jobs, view job details, apply for jobs, and track their applications.
How we built it
Built with React.js, JavaScript, Tailwind CSS, React Router, Vite, React Icons, and Framer Motion.
Challenges we ran into
Managing routing, search functionality, application data, and keeping the UI responsive were our main challenges.
Accomplishments we're proud of
We built a functional, responsive job portal with reusable components, dynamic job pages, and an application tracking system.
What we learned
We learned how to build a real-world React application, solve development issues, and structure reusable components.
What's next for JobFinder
We plan to add Node.js, Express, MySQL, authentication, recruiter features, and AI-powered job recommendations.
