Inspiration
Many students struggle to find relevant jobs and internships. Even when opportunities exist, they often miss deadlines or don’t know how to apply effectively. We wanted to create a platform that guides students through the entire job application process, from matching to submitting applications, using AI and automation.
What it does
Uses AI to match students with jobs based on their skills, resume, and interests. Generates resumes and cover letters automatically. Provides mock interviews and career guidance. Automates job applications and deadline tracking using n8n workflows, so students never miss opportunities.
How we built it
AI Matching Concept: Algorithm analyzes student skills and jobs to provide recommendations. Automation Workflow (n8n): Conceptual design for auto-application and notifications. Wireframes & Visuals: Designed screens for login, dashboard, resume builder, and chatbot using Figma/Canva.
Challenges we ran into
Identifying the best way to automate job applications without compromising accuracy. Designing a platform that works for students from all backgrounds, including those with limited tech access.

Developed a clear concept model and workflow diagram that explains the full JobAI experience.

What's next for JobAI – Smart Career Assistant for Students
Build a working prototype with AI-based job matching. Integrate n8n workflows to automatically track deadlines and submit applications. Expand the platform to include skill-building recommendations and university partnerships. Gather user feedback from students to improve usability and impact.
