What struck me most was the disconnect between this universal anxiety and the lack of actionable tools to address it. Everyone knows change is coming, but nobody has a clear way to measure their actual vulnerability or create a strategic response. People needed more than generic career advice—they needed a data-driven assessment of their specific risk profile and personalized strategies to stay ahead of the curve.

That's when I realized: if we can build AI systems to automate jobs, why not build one to help people protect their careers?

Job Security Quiz is an AI-powered career security assessment that gives professionals a comprehensive analysis of their job vulnerability across four critical dimensions:

The platform delivers personalized recommendations using real-time labor market analysis combined with advanced AI insights from OpenAI's GPT models. Users get industry-specific advice, immediate action plans, and strategic timelines tailored to their exact situation.

What makes it unique is the industry-adaptive interface—the assessment experience changes based on your field, speaking the language of your profession while maintaining a sleek terminal aesthetic that appeals to the modern workforce.

How we built it

Built entirely with Bolt.new and modern web technologies:

Frontend: React with a custom terminal-inspired design system, using Tailwind CSS for responsive styling and Lucide icons for consistency.

Backend: Supabase for user data, session tracking, and real-time analytics, with a robust schema supporting user profiles, assessments, and market data caching.

AI Integration: OpenAI's GPT API for generating personalized career recommendations, with custom prompts designed for each industry and role combination.

Analytics: Google Analytics for user behavior tracking, plus custom event tracking for conversion funnel analysis.
