Inspiration
As students, we found it time consuming to search for jobs across multiple platforms, keep track of applications, and identify the opportunities that best matched our profiles.
What it does
Job Hunter finds job opportunities, matches them to our CVs, and ranks them based on relevance using AI.
How we built it
We built it with Google ADK, Gemini, and MongoDB MCP to create an intelligent multi-steps agent capable of searching, analyzing, and scoring jobs.
Challenges we ran into
We discovered the challenge almost 5 days ago, and we used MCPs for the first time.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We created a half working version of the agent.
What we learned
We learned how to build AI agents using vertex AI, adk, almost integrating MCP tools .
What's next for Job Hunter
We plan to add application tracking and other features, and we are looking for a sponsor to support further development, help us scale the project, and bring Job Hunter to more students facing the same challenges.
