Inspiration Healthcare today is scattered — a different app for doctors, medicines, lab tests, records, and emergencies, with no shared history between them. Seeing people struggle with this firsthand at hospitals — repeating their history at every visit, scrambling for info during emergencies — inspired us to build one connected platform. What it does Jivnex is a single app for your entire healthcare journey — find doctors, book appointments, order medicines, book lab tests, store records as a connected timeline, and get emergency help, all tied to one Health QR identity. It also includes an AI Health Navigator that explains reports and prescriptions in simple language, and a Family Health dashboard to manage care for your whole household. How we built it We built Jivnex on Replit, designing it around one core idea — one person, one health profile, one Health QR — and built out five key sections (Care, Services, My Health, Emergency, AI Navigator) as an MVP. Challenges we ran into Building the app's UI was the biggest challenge — I'd never designed an app interface before, so figuring out how to make five different sections feel simple and connected, rather than cluttered, took a lot of trial and error. Accomplishments that we're proud of Learning app UI design from scratch and shipping a working product with it. We're also proud of turning "Emergency SOS" into a full Emergency Health Passport, and "Family Steward Mode" into a proper Family Health system with individual QR profiles for each member. What we learned We learned a lot about app UI design and how to think through features from a user's perspective — not just what looks good, but what actually helps someone in the middle of a healthcare need. Building on Replit also taught us how to move fast from idea to working prototype. What's next for Jivnex Our goal is for every person to have Jivnex on their phone. Next, we want to keep adding features that serve more people's needs — moving beyond the MVP toward things like video consultation, pharmacy, lab test booking, and eventually chronic care support and community health worker tools.
