What it does

Jira Expense Tracker is a Forge-powered app that lets users track expenses directly within Jira issues.

How we built it

The project follows the Forge Apprentice Tutorial Part 1.

Challenges we ran into

• The UX of the tutorial app is not really great, however Forge sometimes makes it a bit challenging improving on this
• The way the storage gets used can be optimized
• The loading behaviour is not very user-friendly

Accomplishments that we're proud of

• Had very fast first results
• Improved UX a bit

What we learned

• How to persist and retrieve data using Forge’s Storage API

What's next for Jira Expense Tracker

• Make the whole app a bit smoother
• Adding DnD for custom ordering
