Inspiration
Often, even the best developers do not know how to properly secure their websites. We aim to help web developers who need a some help with security.
What it does
With Jinx Vulnerability Scanner, developers can secure their websites against malicious attacks such as Cross Site Scripting (XSS).
How we built it
We built it using a combination of libraries, starting from JavaFX which provides a GUI (User Interface) framework, to JSOUP which handles most of our HTTP affairs.
Challenges we ran into
We ran into a problem with the GUI at the start.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Actually getting a working product.
What we learned
Luis learned a lot about GUI creation using JavaFX. I learned JSoup and about a java class named "Map" which made my life a lot easier.
What's next for Jinx Vulnerability Scanner
Perhaps scaling it into a larger application which would work with a more variety of vulnerabilities.
