Inspiration
Our inspiration came from Reddit's Secret Santa and their other affiliated secret gift exchange services.
What it does
Matches you up with random people looking to give and receive gifts.
How we built it
Built from scratch using pure html, css, javascript, and a whole lot of love.
Challenges we ran into
Firebase, lack of soylent, sleep deprivation, and Firebase!
Accomplishments that we're proud of
That we actually got Firebase to work correctly.
What we learned
A ton of web development, and to never trust AWS when setting up domain names.
What's next for Jift It
Future plans include implementing artificial intelligence, cloud based computing, machine learning, rapid fire user expansion, insert buzzword here, etc. But on a serious note, if interest is shown we would definitely look forward to perfecting (refactoring) it and making it a better experience overall.
