Inspiration

We were super annoyed that after attending talks and presentations, there was no easy way to get the slides or links from the presenter. Sometimes people wanted stuff, that a presenter didn't prepare upfront. We wanted to change that

What it does

Basically we give a speaker a temporary sharing page that people can access through a QR Code and on this page, the speaker just drops links, pdf, slides etc. in and people receive them automatically on their device and can save them.

How we built it

We talked a lot with GPT 5.6 back and forth , what is good UX UI and what makes sense, what is super easy and "magic" and then I just said, now give me a prd for codex as .md and then I put it inside a new repository and said "Codex look, we have a PRD, now what?" And then it started :)

Challenges we ran into

Making it as simple as possible, here codex was super handy, because trying different user interfaces out and interactions was possible, because we could "throw" the code away, if we didn't like it. It was super fun iterating and testing out new ideas.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I think, we literally found a niche! Because it is such a tiny tool and super focused, and it solves a real problem. We got so much feedback, that we made this open source, and we will look into the option turning this tiny thing into a startup :)

What we learned

When you have a cloudy idea, codex can help you clarify and get a clear vision! That's just wow!

What's next for Jiffy share

Distribution! We want as many Speakers, Presenters, Developers, Schools & Universities etc. to use this tool (also codex gave us nice distribution and marketing ideas)
