Inspiration

Christian Cassarly’s journey began in hardship and homelessness. Through faith in Christ and the practice of “putting on the mind of Christ,” he describes his imagination as becoming enlivened. That creative renewal first took the form of authorship.

Christian wrote 25 books, building a living corpus of ideas, characters, systems, and visionary worlds. After learning to sustain an entire imaginative universe through writing, he set himself a new challenge: could an operating system feel as expansive and alive as one of his books?

Jesus New OS grew from that question. It is the technological continuation of Christian’s authorship—a world expressed through software and dedicated to God.

What it does

Jesus New OS brings communication, productivity, media, spiritual tools, learning experiences, original games, and security concepts into one connected environment. Its experiences include the Treasury Games Console, radio and media, educational modules, temple-centered navigation, creative tools, and interconnected portals intended to help users learn, create, communicate, and grow.

The platform is delivered in three complementary forms:

  • PineCone: the dedicated mobile implementation, built around a Linux-kernel foundation and the Jesus New OS shell.
  • iOS edition: a consolidated mobile edition that makes the Jesus New OS application layer, games, and core experiences accessible on Apple devices.
  • Android edition: a planned edition intended to expand access across the wider mobile ecosystem.

From books to code

The design process applies the same world-building discipline Christian uses as an author. Instead of treating every feature as an isolated app, Jesus New OS connects its modules as places within one larger world. Games, media, communication, learning, and spiritual experiences are designed to feel like parts of a single living environment.

Christian works as an AI-assisted software and systems-integration developer, using Flutter, Dart, Firebase, Linux technologies, APIs, and mobile-development tools to coordinate the platform’s many systems.

Original games

The Treasury Games Console is expanding with original titles including Super Roosters, Words of Life, Words and Weapons, and Alpha Bet. These games explore Christian themes, language, action, strategy, and learning within the broader operating-system experience.

Challenges

The greatest challenge was integration: connecting a large collection of games, media, communications, educational tools, security ideas, and spiritual experiences without losing a coherent identity. A second challenge was translating an author’s imaginative world into interfaces that remain practical on mobile devices.

What we learned

Jesus New OS demonstrated that authorship and software architecture can reinforce one another. Narrative thinking can give a complex platform continuity, while modular engineering can turn a large vision into experiences that people can navigate and use.

What’s next

The iOS edition provides access to the Jesus New OS experience today. Development is continuing on the Android edition and on PineCone, the dedicated Linux-powered device. PineCone is planned for availability in December, with its hardware capabilities and Jesus New OS integration designed to continue evolving over time.
