Inspiration
We were inspired to help women who receive supplemental nutritional assistance. We want to make their food shopping experience as seamless and efficient as possible.
What it does
Our app provides a portal to help WIC recipients view their balance, view the eligible food items they can purchase, scan products, and view recipes, along with having an AI chatbot assistance to aid them on the app.
How we built it
Our app was built using React App. Our wireframe was made using figma. Our coding languages included javascript and typescript and CSS.
Challenges we ran into
Making our idea tangible was a challenge so we ran out of time to build out our final product as far as we would’ve liked. We were unable to built out our original idea so we pivoted and made a different app to solve a new problem.
