Inspiration
Coding education has a large market, and we wanted to tap into that.
What it does
Introduces coding concepts in a fun challenging way, following a 2D game layout, we intended to integrate fun gameplay as well produce simple puzzles setup to teach coding concepts to beginners.
How we built it
We used unity for an engine, C# for event scripting, Gimp for art assets, and MuseScore for music assets.
Challenges we ran into
Learning Unity & C# for the first time and creating art assets & animations.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We have a game. We have some spicy tunes, and some sick beats. We produced decent art assets & animations.
What we learned
Basic C# programming, 2D rendering implementations, Unity, don't install unity on Linux using Wine, how to get into Mountain Village without the Bow.
