Inspiration Jeevith will be inspired by the recurring and often life-threatening delays faced by Thalassemia patients in accessing timely blood transfusions. The fragmented nature of current systems will motivate us to build a solution that not only bridges the technical gap but also addresses the emotional and logistical challenges patients and donors experience. Jeevith will aim to be more than a platform—it will become a living, intelligent network of support.

What it will do Jeevith will serve as a comprehensive, AI-powered platform that connects patients, donors, and care providers in real time. It will feature predictive donor-patient matching, geo-fenced donor outreach, offline-first communication via USSD/IVR, and a transparent blood unit lifecycle tracker. A donor impact dashboard will showcase real anonymized patient stories to reinforce the value of every contribution—without gamification, respecting the seriousness of the cause.

How we will build it The platform will be built using React (for web), and a modular backend powered by Node.js and FastAPI. PostgreSQL with PostGIS will manage data and geospatial queries, while Redis will handle real-time messaging. Twilio or Exotel will power IVR and SMS capabilities. AI microservices in Python will drive donor predictions and regional heatmapping.
