Inspiration

JeevanRaksha was inspired by the need to make healthcare more accessible, especially during emergencies and situations where immediate guidance can save lives. Many people struggle to understand symptoms, find the right care, or even express their problems. We wanted to create an intelligent system that not only provides medical assistance but also listens and supports users like a human.

What it does

JeevanRaksha is an AI-based healthcare platform that analyzes user symptoms and predicts possible conditions. It suggests remedies, provides guidance, and in critical situations, recommends nearby hospitals for immediate help.

It also includes a report summarizer that simplifies complex medical reports into understandable insights. The platform supports multilingual interaction, making it accessible to a wider audience.

Additionally, it features an AI-powered conversational space that listens to users, understands their concerns, and interacts in a human-like manner. The focus is on empathetic listening rather than just giving suggestions.

The system also includes modules for appointment booking and medicine access, and integrates with government mental health resources to provide extended support. It is designed for both patients and hospital staff, making it a comprehensive healthcare solution.

How we built it

We built JeevanRaksha using modern technologies with a focus on AI and scalability. The system integrates APIs such as Groq and Google Gemini to enable intelligent conversation and symptom analysis.

The architecture is designed to handle multiple modules, including AI-based prediction, report summarization, and real-time interaction. We ensured the platform remains user-friendly while supporting complex backend processes.

Challenges we ran into

One of the major challenges was ensuring accurate symptom analysis while keeping the system reliable and safe for users. Designing an AI that listens empathetically rather than just responding with generic suggestions was also challenging.

Integrating multiple features like booking systems, AI models, and external resources into a seamless workflow required careful system design and planning.

What we learned
