Android -> Firebase-> Backend ML. That is the gist of it
Challenges we ran into
Firebase was a headache, seemed to do everything of the opposite that we wanted to do. Android studio was a hassle as well and integrating Android to Firebase and then Firebase to Python was a challenge
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We did get all the parts of system talking, we can read and write to Firebase in both Java and Python.
What we learned
No technology will work the way you want it do, its about the determination to achieve the end result that will push you to the finish line
What's next for JAST Recognize You
To be able to incorporate more than one event at a time, and allow for more independence of the user
