Jasmine

Inspiration We were inspired by the growing number of individuals who are looking to take control of their finances and make informed investment decisions, but may not have the knowledge or resources to do so effectively. Our goal was to create an app that makes it easy for anyone to track financial risks and receive personalized investment education, so they can make confident investment decisions. We wanted to ensure that people and organizations can understand the volatility of the market and find better ways to invest their money while at the same time understanding the volatility in the market.

What it does Jasmine is a financial risk tracking and investment education app. It provides real-time alerts and personalized education to help users make informed investment decisions and avoid potential financial risks. With its user-friendly interface and comprehensive features, Jasmine makes it easy for anyone to stay on top of their finances and achieve their investment goals. You are able to calculate the risk factor of entertaining certain trades and financial purchases enabling yourself to make better financial decisions.

How we built it Jasmine was built using a combination of modern technologies and financial expertise. We used Figma as a source base for our prototype of Alpaca to simulate trades that we would make to better understand risk factors.

Challenges we ran into One of the biggest challenges we faced was ensuring the accuracy of our financial data and risk analysis. Additionally, we had to ensure that our user interface was intuitive and easy to use for a wide range of users, from seasoned investors to those just starting out. With Figma, we ran into a lot of feature issues where we couldn’t fully implement the features that we wanted to implement.

Accomplishments that we're proud of We’re proud that we accomplished this product in such a short amount of time. Our team was completely inexperienced with Figma and Alpaca and in under 2 days we were able to create an app that many would enjoy.

What we learned During the development of Jasmine, we learned the importance of combining technology and financial expertise to create a truly effective financial app. We also learned the value of user feedback, and how important it is to continuously improve and update our app to meet the changing needs of our users.

What's next for Jasmine We have big plans for Jasmine in the future! Our goal is to continue to improve and expand the app, adding new features and tools that make it even easier for users to track their finances and make informed investment decisions.
