🤖 JARVIS — Project Story

JARVIS started with a simple thought:

What if an AI assistant could do more than just talk?

Most AI assistants are great at answering questions, generating content, and having conversations. But I wanted to explore the next step — an AI that can understand a user's goal, break it into tasks, and actually work toward completing it.

That idea became JARVIS.

JARVIS is an AI-powered voice and computer agent designed to turn natural-language instructions into actionable tasks. Instead of simply responding with instructions, JARVIS is built around an understand → plan → execute workflow.

🧠 How It Works

A user gives JARVIS a command in natural language.

JARVIS then:

Understands the request → Plans the task → Queues the actions → Executes them → Returns the result

The project combines AI reasoning, voice interaction, task planning, memory, APIs, and computer interaction into one modular assistant.

🚀 Manual Start

git clone https://github.com/utkarxzz/JARVIS.git cd JARVIS python3 -m venv .venv source .venv/bin/activate pip install . python3 scripts/setup_jarvis.py jarvis

A Gemini API key is required for the AI functionality.

🎯 The Vision

JARVIS isn't meant to be just another chatbot.

The goal is to move from:

AI that tells you how to do something

to:

AI that understands what you want and helps you do it.

This project is my exploration of the future of AI agents, voice assistants, and human-computer interaction.

JARVIS is still evolving, but the vision is simple:

«Understand. Plan. Act.»
