The night sky

What it does

You play the game using your left and right keys. You help a ghost catch falling stars!

How I built it

Game was built using Unity and in C#

Challenges I ran into

Time was definitely a challenge. There were many ideas that had to be put down for "for the future". I had to really narrow down what could be done so that there was at least a playable base game done by the deadline.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I am very proud that the base game works and is playable! I am also a bit proud of the sky background. I'm a programmer not an artist, so I feel a bit proud of how the background turned out.

What I learned

I learned how to time manage and how to scale down my project. I also learned how to use unity a lot better and will be a lot more comfortable using it for future projects.

What's next for Jar of Stars

There's still many things that need to get one. First, a counter needs to be displayed on the screen to let the player know how many stars they have caught. I would also like to add in more items. Such as items that you're not suppose to catch, "super stars", which would give you more points that normal stars. I would also like to add in some clouds floating past on the screen. Overall the sprites and art need a lot more refining too. I would also like to add in more levels and a possible storyline for the game.
