Inspiration

learning a new language is difficult

What it does

it helps with vocabulary learning

How we built it

use an input box to type in a word in either English or japanese and return definition, translation, and example sentence

Challenges we ran into

it was difficult to see what the AI would return if the word is typed in English or Japanese

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Easy to use and seems helpful as it also return the romanization of japanese characters which facilitate reading.

What we learned

Still tweaking to see if we can expand the examples and definitions. Sometimes the definitions are in English only and sometimes are in Japanese
