Inspiration

I am living as an international student in Japan and realized how hard it is to learn formal business Japanese as there are a lot of terms to memorize and comprehend. If I want to work in Japan, I realized that it takes time to master the language, and for people who need a job in Japan, it is crucial to have the skill. So, I made an app using PartyRock to resolve that issue.

What it does

When an English prompt is inputted in the box, the output would contain a translated formal Japanese prompt of that input. In addition, the user can check if the content of the email is informal or not, and check grammatical errors using the chatbot on the bottom.

How we built it

Using AWS PartyRock.

What we learned

The usefulness of Generative AI. As this is becoming a trend, I am experiencing a generation where low-code services can create value towards society by creating the needs of individuals easily. When a problem is issued, we just need to prompt that to the LLM, then boom!! The product is made.

What's next for Japanese "Keigo" Language Generator

I would like to add widgets where it also checks the grammatical errors and formality of the Japanese Keigo prompt that the AI produced.
