Inspiration

Japan’s calm, minimalistic beauty has always inspired creators worldwide. I wanted to capture that timeless aesthetic—sunrise, bamboo forests, waterfalls, tea rituals, and Mount Fuji—into one long, peaceful cinematic experience that feels like meditation through visuals.

What it does

JAPAN AESTHETIC is a 51-minute cinematic journey blending Japanese nature, culture, and daily rituals. It uses AI-generated visuals, music, and storytelling to create a calming sensory experience for relaxation, focus, and mindfulness.

How we built it

I combined:

AI-generated scenes inspired by Japanese landscapes

Custom prompts for sunrise, matcha rituals, bamboo forests, waterfalls, and Mt. Fuji

AI-generated music and vocals using Suno + ElevenLabs

Editing, color-grading, and sound balancing to create a smooth meditative flow

A minimal narrative that stays true to Zen and wabi-sabi principles
