JanSevai – AI-Powered Citizen Grievance Management Platform
Inspiration
Public grievance systems often suffer from slow processing, poor transparency, and inefficient communication between citizens and authorities. People frequently struggle to know whether their complaints have been received, verified, or resolved. We wanted to build a modern platform that simplifies complaint registration while helping organizations manage and resolve issues more efficiently.
Jansevai was inspired by the idea of creating a transparent, AI-powered digital grievance management system that improves communication between citizens and administrators through automation, real-time tracking, and location verification.
What it does
Jansevai is a full-stack grievance management platform that enables citizens to submit complaints with supporting images and location information. The platform automatically stores complaint details, allows administrators to review and update complaint status, and provides users with real-time progress tracking.

Challenges we ran into
One of the biggest challenges was integrating multiple AWS services into a seamless workflow. Configuring Amazon Cognito authentication, securely uploading images to Amazon S3, and connecting the backend APIs with DynamoDB required careful planning.
Another challenge was implementing reliable location verification and ensuring that complaint information remained synchronized between the frontend, backend, and database. Debugging API responses and handling asynchronous cloud services also required extensive testing.
