Inspiration
JamSpace aims at developing connections between musicians. We traditionally organize jams in music studios, lives or online collaborations. Today, we're convinced that it exists a new ways of music practicing. One of them is to be able to jam or play with other people remotely, with the lowest latency possible. By participating to this hackathon, we will try to bring our researches and lessons learned to the musical challenge #1!
Challenges we ran into
Finding solutions to the latency issue is a real big deal. We found some tips to keep it low but today our major challenge is to verify our hypothesis and manage to develop it.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
In the beginning of May 2020, we applied to the Next Stage Challenge to present our idea of remote jamming solution and we have been selected to the Wallifornia MusicTech Accelerator Program. It has allowed us to fine tune our proposal and discuss with experts of this field. We are now very proud of what we want to develop.
What we learned
We learned about technologies that could be useful to the development of our solution, how to run properly our business and how to sell it. Now it's time to make it real!
What's next for JamSpace - Meetings & Collaboration for Musicians
The next steps for JamSpace are mainly to manage to develop the future platform we thought. And that's the real challenge for us!
