Inspiration
Our school cafe runs inefficiently. We would like to create an efficient manner for students, staff members, and community members to order from our new cafe as we navigate the complex rules around selling food and drink on the grounds of a public school.
What it does
Takes cafe orders for students, staff members, and community members. It will also coordinate our order ahead system so that our students running the coffee bar can anticipate what needs to be made and when it should be available to customers.
How we built it
Simple code with different pages using AppLab to simulate an app.
Challenges we ran into
Lack of focus with our demands of our daily high school and community college courses, coding errors as present in AppLab, and having spring break in the middle of our time working on this.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Finishing this project on time!
What we learned
Simple coding skills, troubleshooting, graphic design, and all the components that go into a public facing customer service app.
What's next for JAJAB
Finishing our credit for SparkLab as well as handing off our prototype as a proof of concept to a professional developer to create the app for our coffee bar.
