Inspiration

Being part of the Jain community, I often saw how difficult it is for people especially students to access authentic Jain knowledge in one place. Information is scattered, and younger generations prefer interactive, digital learning. As a developer, I wanted to use technology to preserve and simplify this wisdom. That idea became Jain Sphere.

What it does

Jain Sphere is an AI-powered digital ecosystem that provides Jain knowledge through text, audio, and video on demand. It also helps users discover nearby Jain temples within a chosen radius, bridging spiritual learning with real-world connection.

How we built it

I built Jain Sphere as a solo project using my web development skills mainly HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React. The platform is designed to handle different types of content and respond to user requests in a structured way. I also integrated a location-based feature so users can find temples around them, making the experience practical, not just informational.

Challenges we ran into

One of the biggest challenges was organizing Jain knowledge in a way that is both authentic and easy to understand. Another challenge was designing a system that supports multiple formats of content while still feeling simple for users. Building everything alone also meant solving design, logic, and implementation problems independently.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I’m proud that Jain Sphere is a purpose-driven project built independently from scratch. It connects tradition with modern technology and creates a foundation for a digital Jain ecosystem rather than just a single-feature app.

What we learned

This project taught me that technology becomes more meaningful when it solves real cultural and community needs. I also learned a lot about system design, user-focused thinking, and building scalable ideas as a solo developer.

What's next for Jain Sphere.

Next, I plan to expand the content system, add smarter AI interaction, and build a full Android application so the platform becomes more accessible on mobile devices especially important since I’m actively moving into Android development
