What inspired was the need of a collaborative way of helping each other, because here in Mexico most gas stations steal from 10% to 15% of what you should truly get (i.e, instead of getting 40L, you get 35L). Therefore, we thought of a cool way of making everyone useful, and at the same time, make our cars smarter. The way we plan on selling this flowmeter is through retail stores at a really cheap cost, around 400 MXN, just so that anyone can get real-time gasoline flow. Also, what's interesting is that anyone can download the App that has the ranking of the gas stations that steal the least, and therefore, even though they don't have the device, they can make a decision of which gas station is the best for them.
In this sense, it helps people that travel a lot in their city, because we are going to revolutionize the way in which people choose gas stations. Moreover, this initiative incites gas station owners to be more competitive, and therefore, steal less from their users.
