Inspiration
My Horizon Worlds project, JahFrica, is a vibrant, immersive space inspired by the lively energy of a Caribbean reggae experience. Envisioned a world where rhythm, culture, and community come together, creating an inviting atmosphere for people from diverse backgrounds to connect and engage.
Through this project, I’ve discovered the beauty of international, multicultural interaction—the way people from all walks of life come together in these virtual spaces to socialize, share experiences, and build meaningful connections. However, one of the biggest challenges I faced was the technical and logistical hurdle of bringing 32 people together in one place, ensuring seamless interaction and engagement.
Despite these obstacles, my dedication to building JahFrica has allowed me to craft a unique, dynamic environment that resonates with visitors. Whether through music, ambiance, or social features, my project stands as a testament to the power of virtual spaces in fostering global community and cultural appreciation.
