What it does
The Jagiya Bot 1.1 is an autonomous moving robot that is capable of moving around the place on its own without any human intervention. and is able to do any required shipment task. The initial idea behind this bot was to deliver stuff with complete safety amidst this pandemic. As I live in India and the situation here is worsening day by day, collecting daily use items is getting harder and harder, and to accomplish the same, this bot was thought upon, to collect and deliver the stuff around the locality. as it will be equipped with self sanitation protocols and equipment which will sanitize the bot on the go, without any human intervention. The bot uses the onboard compass and GPS module to allocate itself on this planet. The onboard compass helps with the heading and the GPS module provides the coordinates of the bot in real-time. It uses both the data to move around the place. the bot is fed with the destination location to which it has to go using the onboard sensors it moves to and from the required destinations. The onboard object avoidance sensors (ultrasonic sensors) help the bot from crashing into any obstacle around it, and help dodge the forthcoming collisions.
How we built it
The following Hack was made using : 1) Arduino Mega 2) MPU9250 3) Neo 6m GPS 4) L298N Motor Driver 5) 12 V DC Motors 6) Chasis 7) Breadboard Wires 8) 12V 1.3 Ah battery 9) Live feed camera
Challenges we ran into
The algorithms for calibrating the compass data were a big issue and required much time for the same. The movement of the bot was being disturbed by the nearby magnetic radiations, hence to fix that, the IMU unit had to be placed somewhere strategic
Accomplishments that we're proud of
This robot is capable of delivering stuff around the neighborhood, sanitize it self, and collect the infection spread data

Learned many things about mentioned sensors and MPUs
What's next for jagiya-bot
The bot is going to get a solar panel as a power source, also an addition of Computer vision, and some robotic arms for it to lift and drop items.
