Inspiration
Citizens often face hurdles in reporting civic issues like pipeline bursts, roadblocks, or waste mismanagement. At the same time, navigating government schemes, policies, and services is overwhelming due to scattered information and lack of transparency. Inspired by this gap, we are planning to build JaanSahayak AI – an AI-powered governance assistant that bridges citizens and authorities in a unified, accessible, and intelligent way.
How We Plan to Build It
AI Foundation: Powered by IBM’s Granite models and Agent Development Kit (ADK).
Complaint Management: Citizens will file complaints in natural language, which will be classified and routed to the right authority with real-time tracking.
Policy Simplification: Government schemes will be translated into easy-to-understand explanations across multiple Indian languages.
Service Recommendation: Personalized suggestions for healthcare, transportation, and welfare programs will be provided based on user needs and location.
Tech Stack (planned):
Backend: Python, FastAPI
AI/ML: Granite Models, NLP pipelines
Frontend: React.js, Tailwind CSS
Database: MongoDB / Firestore
Deployment: IBM Cloud
