Inspiration
Manual invoicing is tedious. We wanted to build a live, easily accessible web assistant that automates billing directly from any browser, saving valuable time for freelancers and small businesses.
What it does
Accessible instantly via our live Railway URL, this web-based AI agent interacts with users to automatically generate, format, and organize professional invoices based on simple inputs.
How we built it
We developed the AI agent's logic and integrated it into a web application. We then successfully deployed the entire project to production using Railway, ensuring it is hosted and available 24/7.
Challenges we ran into
We faced challenges configuring the production environment on Railway. Ensuring that the web interface communicated smoothly with the AI agent without connection timeouts required careful debugging.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are incredibly proud of taking this project from a local development script to a fully deployed, live web application that anyone can click and use immediately.
What we learned
We learned the end-to-end process of deploying an AI application to the web using Railway, and how to manage real-time interactions between a web front-end and an AI backend.
What's next for iunvoice- agent
We plan to add a feature allowing users to download their generated invoices directly as PDF files from the web app, and implement user authentication to save invoice history safely.
