Inspiration

After comparing the post and pre covid effects by social media. In the U.S. there are 64% cases reported as to be the hate speech like, Racist, Sexist, Anti-religion, Homophobic. There are has largest social media users and the growth rate is 31.2%. There are 45% fake news among which there are majority of the political and religious stories. There are 1 in 10 Cyberbullying cases reported. In completion of the project we will want to be a part of societal justices by controlling the discrimination, hate, and systemic oppression impact many of the groups in society.

What it does

It is an Intelligent monitoring system. This Monitors --> Analyses --> Controls, the social media content and intimates the respective user if the content is inappropriate to the group sent.

How we built it

  1. It is an automated system, using xpath, web driver the content from social media like What'sApp is scraped.
  2. The database of latest news is scraped from big news websites using selenium and webdriver and saved for further use.
  3. Used Machine learning models to test and analyze the fake news, classification of image and analysis of content.

Challenges we ran into

  1. We ran into challenges like collecting the dataset of local languages and catering with issues of languages of local problems.
